FreeMeet at Cotehele Quay (National Trust Car Park by the River Tamar) at 11.00. Cost to park if non NT member three pounds. If a member please remember to bring your NT card to get a free ticket.
Coffee at Edgcumbe Arms Tea Shop near the car park.
Walk to Cotehele Mill area and go up through wood and back to Cotehele House for lunch in Barn Restaurant
In the afternoon optional walk towards Calstock along riverbank
Notes An alternative is to go to Cotehele House Car Park and walk around the grounds. For non members entry is twelve pounds and 20 pence – plus three pounds for car parking.
You also need to be a member or to pay if you wish to go into the Mill complex.
I have spoken to the Barn Restaurant and they have confirmed that we can use it but need to go through the main reception area and explain that we have just come to eat at the restaurant.
The gardens and grounds should be at their best with the Spring flowers and blossom coming out.
