Support Group Meeting

If you have been given a diagnosis of Bladder Cancer, then you together with your partner, friend, or carer will be very welcome. Come along and meet other people in the same situation as you and compare notes.

This meetings guest: Di Charlton – Macmillan Engagement Lead
Di works with communities, groups and organisations across Devon, Cornwall and Isles of Scilly to support initiatives,  such as our group, that will improve the lives of people affected by cancer.
Clinical member of staff attending: Vanessa Wilcox, Uro-Oncology Nurse Specialist.

Di will talk about Macmillan, aspirations of Macmillan  in relation to empowering patients to use their experience of cancer to make a positive difference. She will also talk about what Macmillan can offer in terms of grants, learning and development opportunities, and broader information and support.
